The Fine Print, Without the Fine Print
What's actually in the contract — written like a neighbor, not a lawyer.
Minimum & Length
One month is the minimum. We bill in 30-day cycles from the date your container arrives. There is no auto-renewal — your rental simply continues until you call for pickup. Average customer tenure with a unit on-site is 47 days. Our longest active rental on record is 3.2 years (a Denver art collector).
Pickup Window
Call or text before noon on any business day and your container is picked up the next business day in all 14 metros. We don't charge a “missed pickup” fee if your driveway isn't ready — we just reschedule, no questions, no invoice add-on.
Late-Return Policy
Containers held past the scheduled pickup date are billed at the same $129 flat daily rate, prorated in 24-hour increments. There is no penalty surcharge for a one- or two-day overrun — only the same flat rate. If you need an extra week, just call; we'll roll the rental forward at the same monthly price.
What's Included in $5,000 Damage Coverage
Every shipment is automatically covered up to $5,000 against water intrusion, structural damage in transit, or seal failure — at no extra cost, no waiver to sign. Above $5,000, Lloyds of London provides up to $2M per container per incident. You're not paying for an opt-in “protection plan.”
Relocations
One free relocation per rental — we move the container from the front driveway to the backyard, or between two job-site zones, at no charge. Additional relocations are $59 flat. There is no per-mile charge because the truck is already on your route.
Cancellation
Cancel any time before delivery with no charge. After delivery, the first month is non-refundable (we've already dispatched the truck and the driver); subsequent months are pre-billed and refundable prorated to the day.
Full rental agreement available before booking. By submitting a quote request you are not committing to a rental — only to a conversation with our dispatch team.

Is there a deposit or setup fee?
No. There is no deposit, no setup fee, no admin fee, and no booking fee. The $129 (or $189 / $219 for the climate and 40-ft units) is the entire first-month charge. We don't run a deposit float on your money — we'd rather earn it on the second month of a long rental.
Can I pay weekly or prorate a month?
Billing is in 30-day cycles from the date of delivery. We don't offer weekly billing because the unit, the route, and the GPS are all running the same whether you keep it for 7 days or 70. If you only need the container for 12 days, you'll still be billed the full first month — but the second month can be prorated to the day if you call for early pickup.
Do you offer long-term rental discounts?
Yes. Six-month rentals drop to $119/month, twelve-month rentals to $109/month on the standard 20-ft. Climate-controlled and 40-ft units have their own tier — call dispatch for the long-term sheet. Discounts are applied to the second month forward, not retroactively.
What payment methods do you accept, and how does insurance work?
All major credit cards, ACH bank transfer, and check (for rentals over 60 days). Every shipment is automatically covered up to $5,000 against weather or transit damage at no extra cost, and the fleet is insured through Lloyds of London for up to $2M per container per incident. There is no opt-in damage waiver and no separate insurance line item on your invoice.
